Mardi Gras
I found the celebration of Mardi Gras interesting but also has a hint of mysteriousness to it. It’s surprising how it seems like a pretty dull tradition but gradually evolved into a colourful and exhilarating celebration. It’s sort of disappointing to know that it is not that big of a celebration in Canada.

Current News Update
On January 5th, 2009, a homicide had occurred during 11:30pm in the Lawrence and Leslie area of Toronto. The victim was a 34-year-old woman. The victim had died due to a gunshot wound through the head. The victim was found with her head against the steering wheel of a SUV. The vehicle was found registered to an owner in Mississauga. There hasn’t any suspects yet for the victim and the identity of the woman has not yet been released.

It’s not clear whether the vehicle had belonged to one of the victim’s relatives, if it were, it would be worth investigating. It would be also worth looking over the vehicle’s interior and exterior for any suspicious signs indicative of the murder. So far, there doesn’t seem to be any eyewitnesses of the case for they often proved to be the most helpful. The case seems to be a simple homicide from the information that is put out by the media, but whether or not the case has complications has to wait till the end of the investigation.
